Popo's adoption papers say he is a Chinese Crested, but from his looks, personality and temperment, I believe him to be a Mexican Hairless or the Peruvian Inca Orchid.I adopted him at 8 months, and he now just turned 5 years. Unfortunately the doggie DNA tests available do not have Mexican Hairless or the Inca Orchids in their data base to find out for sure. He is a great little watch dog, and has a feisty personality, and is very sweet when he wants to be. He is very smart and stubborn, and never quite owned a dog so head strong, but we love him all the same. The squirt gun training has started again, and seems to work very well with him to control his barking and aggression. I wouldn't trade him for the world!
I have also thought of that breed, however his teeth are missing in the middle, and the AHT have a complete set of teeth. His personality def. fit the rat terrier though.
There is another breed called the "Hairless Khala" which he could be as well, as he is foot sensitive.
To me, they almost all look the same except the Chinese Crested, so hard to tell. Thanks for the input.
